Temporal Verification of Relay-Based Railway Traffic Control Systems Using the Integrated Model of Distributed Systems

Relay-based traffic control systems are still used in railway systems. Their correctness is most often verified by manual analysis, which does not guarantee all conditions. Passenger safety, reliability, and failure-free operation of components require formal proof the system’s correctness. Formal evidence allows certification systems, ensuring that safety will be maintained correct conditions event failure. The operational component failure cannot manually checked practically various types damage to one component, pairs components, etc. In article, we describe methodology automated system verification using IMDS (integrated model distributed systems) temporal formalism Dedan tool. novelty presented lays graphical design circuit elements, liberating designer from logic, checking partial properties related fragments circuit, fair preventing discovering false deadlocks. article presents an exemplary relay case, case incorrect sequence signals environment. results shown form diagrams leading correct/incorrect final state.
